This module is an introduction to the unique characteristics of digital media including radio, television and web and to the basic skills needed for writing effective review/comment pieces and commercials



To create awareness regarding the rules and regulations that governs the practice of advertising from the local and global perspectives

This course will serve as an introduction to the study of digital media, new media, with attention to the pre-history of the Internet technologies we’re now familiar with, the theoretical modes of reading that such technologies have helped give birth to, and the social and political effects that these technologies have had.

A Combination of simple and carefully prepared tutorials and projects that will be used to help and guide students to build a strong foundation and a better understanding of the theoretical and technical aspects and the aesthetic appreciation of the processes or/of image making.


The course will provide a foundation of contemporary theories of human communication emphasizing the similarities and differences between the various communication processes.
