At the end of this module, students will be able to :

 

Provide a working definition of the documentary film genre.

Produce a short documentary using digital production methods.

Embrace rising trends and technologies as a filmmaker.

Demonstrate the appropriate use of visual & audio with an education or information value for the target audience.

Demonstrate the process of producing documentary.

9.0     SPECIFIC GENERIC LEARNING SKILLS

They will have a broad understanding of a documentary production process as well as the do and don’ts of a documentary production. They will have a wide understanding of Documentary in Digital Age.  


This module emphasizes on the process of film and digital video production.


On satisfactory completion of this unit, students will:

1.     Gain an understanding of how these concepts and skills could be applied to more complex productions.

2.     Have a general understanding of various film directors.

3.     Have an understanding of the usage of various film techniques to express one’s work.

4.     Have the knowledge of creative skills of audio visual story telling.
