AD2106 Exploration of Local Ethnic Art

This module explores and analyze on traditional work of art (food/handicraft/paintings, etc) from various local ethnicities in Borneo. As well as understanding the historical traditions from the ethnic groups of Borneo through various projects and visits that enable the students to be able to appreciate and visualize as well as the knowledge as a whole aspect in this module.

AD2206 Composition Technology

This course introduces the students to basic digital imaging techniques and basic video production. It also enhances student's ability to analyze their subject matter in the aspect of lighting, perspective and concept.

AD2306 Theater Studies (The Art of Stage Management)

This course introduces students to the basic knowledge and skills needed to produce the art of stage management in the early stages. The basic aspects to be explored are props, costumes, lighting, sound, background and stage construction.

AD2406 Gallery Exhibition Management

This module explores the basic management skills required in setting up a gallery or exhibition through various fundamental skills as well as being able to expose outside the institution in order to get the opportunity within the creative industries.

AD2506 Portfolio Management

This course will teach students the best way to represent themselves with CV and business card design in order to promote themselves as artists and designers. Students will also be guided on developing a portfolio – an art collective of their best work as students for the past year of study in this certificate programme.
